QBS For Success: Why Value Outweighs Cost in Qualifications-based Selection

You are invited to attend an introductory meeting to learn more about your organization’s invitation to become a partner in QBS Colorado Coalition. As you may know, there are no dues required for your organization to become part of this coalition—we simply are seeking volunteers from our AEC industry who are willing to help educate and advocate for the QBS process.

Please forward this invitation to anyone who may be interested in attending this complimentary, initial introduction event on Wednesday, June 13, (7-9 a.m.) at Stantec (RNL Office | 1050 17th Street, Ste. A200 Denver | Asia Conference Room) —please ask your members to click here to RSVP directly by Monday, June 11, to ensure you are included in the breakfast count and have name badges. (NOTE: we encourage you and/or other staff members/leaders from your organization to also attend.)

During this event, you will hear more about the outreach currently being done by QBS Colorado Coalition—including the December 2017 educational webinar for Colorado Main Street. Additionally, two owners will provide their stories of success related to using the QBS process.

7-7:30 a.m. – Networking Breakfast
7:30-7:50 a.m. –  Welcome & QBS Introduction Presentation (Dave DiFulvio, PLS & Linda Waterhouse, AIA)
7:50-8:30 a.m. – Owners’ Discussion: “Using QBS – Why, How & Examples” (CDOT Innovative Contracting Manager Matt Pacheco, PE & an owner from the vertical design space)
8:30-9 a.m. – Audience Q&A & Closing
