The national ACEC Political Action Committee (PAC) is funded by personal contributions from ACEC members, and contributors are invited to attend private events, such as the Tuesday, Jan. 17 reception with U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette, and the Thursday, March 9, curling event–a networking fundraiser. (For more information on attending either event, please send an email to Heidi Gordon.)

The PAC helps elect candidates to Congress who support pro-business, pro-engineering positions. In the 2013-14 election cycle, ACEC PAC contributed $1.76 million to support 318 federal candidates and committees that took favorable positions on issues such as funding for transportation and infrastructure projects (including water and aviation), energy and environmental programs, and changes to the federal tax code. The national goal for 2015 was to raise $1 million to support pro-engineering candidates. ACEC PAC is bipartisan and operates out in the open in full compliance with the Federal Election Campaign Act and applicable state laws.
