Colorado Gives
This statewide platform for charitable includes ACEC Colorado Foundation and more than 3,800 other nonprofits, offering givers a convenient and secure way to donate online through Colorado Gives Foundation, which runs the annual Colorado Gives Day each December. Since its inception in 2010, it has grown to be Colorado’s largest 24-hour giving event and one of the largest giving events in the United States–raising more than $469 million for nonprofits. This annual tradition is celebrated by many who call Colorado home, and even some who don’t. It’s a special sort of local holiday where the giving is easy for Coloradans to lift their communities with both joy and generosity that is felt in neighborhoods and communities across our state. Thank you to all those that make good happen for local nonprofits in Colorado making Colorado Gives Day one of the most successful giving days in the nation. Volunteer Opportunities
The ACEC Colorado Foundation partners with many schools and organizations that support a focus on STEM education. Throughout the year, there are opportunities for consulting engineers to join in specific programming. This usually entails one to two hours at an event that ACEC Colorado Foundation staff have organized where volunteers might engage with students (under the staff direction) and answer questions about their careers and typical work days. If you’re interested, please contact ACEC Colorado Finance & Strategic Initiatitves Sr. Director Dana Mansell
